Picked up my laptop on Tuesday, after calling the repair place to see if it was ready. The woman on the phone claims that they called me. I don’t have a record of that. Either way I was not impressed that when I picked up my computer the packing slip had Friday’s date on it.
I could have picked it up 4 days before!?! *sign*
Anyhoo, it is back home where it belongs. I was about to call and express my concern as I left it plugged in all night and the battery light was still orange on Wednesday morning but it was back to green by the time I got home from work. Not sure if I should make a big deal about this or not.
After this whole laptop fiasco, I will now be hyper vigilant about backing up my data. Since I skipped the backup on April 22, my budget is very out of date. I will attempt to get it right tonight with all the various receipts that are floating around my purse.
What I need now more than anything is the time to get caught up on my blog reading. I am so very behind.

I am really behind too and I don’t even have a valid reason like my computer was broke. I really need to start backing up stuff but I don’t even know where to start. I don’t know if to store my stuff online of if to go physical. I’m usually good at knowing when my computer is going and when it is time to back up, but I do know it could just randomly go at any point. I wouldn’t lose a whole lot but I would lose a couple important documents.
